In the ‘How to create a culture of faith sharing’ booklet, we shared a couple of corporate habits that seemed to be prevalent in churches that were growing. One of those habits was regular Gospel explanations and an invitation to make a response.

That mini Gospel explanation or ‘Nugget’ could be part of the sermon, or a reflection during a time of worship or even a short sermonette after the notices! It does three things. Firstly it gives space for those who are not yet a Christian to hear something of the Gospel and make a response. Secondly, it models to the congregation that the church gathering is a place to bring unchurched friends. And thirdly, it gives members of the congregation some ideas for how they can share their faith during the week.

The question then might be, but how do we do this?
And how do we not say the same thing every week?

No Gospel explanation conveys the entirety of the Gospel but below are few ’Nuggets’ from Andy Frost and Marcus Bennett that they have used during church services.
