About
Share Jesus International is passionate about helping the Church to share Jesus. We believe that the life changing message of Jesus is as relevant today as it was 2,000 years ago.
Statement of Faith
SJI unites in mission with individuals, churches and Christian agencies which, acknowledging God’s revelation in Christ, confess the Lord Jesus Christ as God and Saviour according to the Scriptures.
In obedience to God’s will and in the power of the Holy Spirit, we commit ourselves to seek a deepening of communion with Christ and with one another in the Church which is His body. This is to fulfil our mission to proclaim the Gospel by common witness and service in the world, and to the glory of the one God; Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Share Jesus International is a member of the Evangelical Alliance.
History
Share Jesus International was founded in 2000 by the late Rev Dr Rob Frost. Previously it was known as the Rob Frost Support Team. Partnering with local churches, we are known for innovation and creative engagement with a strong emphasis on mobilising Christians to engage with mission. Our signature event for 20 years was Easter People. However, in 2007, it was felt that God was calling us to a very new style of event. Easter People celebrated its final event in 2007 and Pentecost Festival was birthed in 2008. Since 2008, the organisation has been led by Andy Frost. Over the past few years there has been an array of missional projects that SJI has initiated. These projects include short term missions; youth leadership development courses; national tours; campaigns challenging binge drinking culture and a series of short films.
