With special thanks to the British and Foreign Bible Society, we have produced SIGNS – a little booklet that takes you through seven readings from the book of John. The Gospel of John is not written in a strictly chronological order. He instead groups topics together and interspersed in his book, he writes about seven signs. He explains that “Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, which are not written in this book….” (John 20:30 | NIV)

The signs in John’s Gospel are important in that they help us understand Jesus’ identity, message and mission. They point beyond themselves and this booklet is an invitation to journey through these seven signs and to allow the Bible to speak for itself.

After each passage of scripture, there is space to answer the following five questions the are adapted from Church 3.0: Upgrades for the Future of the Church by Neil Cole (2010).

What strikes you about this story?
What does this story say to you about people in general?
What does this story say to you about Jesus?
What does this story have to say about you?
Who needs to hear this story?

These booklets can be ordered for free here but we would greatly appreciate a gift towards printing and postage!
