Since 2008 FRESH has equipping, empowered and released almost 200 young people into leadership to make a difference in their communities… and oh what an impact they are having!
Over the years we’ve seen a whole variety of young people from all walks of life, cultures and background changed though the FRESH training experience. As they have engaged with the teaching; applied their strengths and gifts; and been proactive in fulfilling their role within the Kingdom of God; they truly have been a catalyst for change in their communities across the UK. Since the first FRESH cohort 4 years ago, we have seen young people make a difference through initiating drama productions, homeless projects, detached youth work, churches together groups, community days, sports outreach, film nights and more! This generation of leaders is owning it’s sense of duty and responsibility to continue to lead the church in sharing the Good News in all types of ways and means.
With the FRESHers being so active, we thought it was about time we got them all back together to hear more of what they’ve been up to.
In March 2012 the FRESHers from all previous years will be invited to gather together for Re:FRESH, the first of many annual reunions that allows them to catch up, share their leadership stories and celebrate their progress together. We will also be hearing from Jason Gardner, Joel Wallington and a special guest from the underground church. Through a series of mini talks, agencies and organisations from across the country will encourage the young people to develop their leadership potential and engage with initiatives and projects happening around the UK and abroad.
It’s incredible to see just how much influence 200 young people can have. With this in mind, FRESH is expanding! In 2012 we are introducing a FRESH North as well as FRESH South. Are you aged 15-21 and do you want to be part of an influential generation? Apply HERE!
