FRESH: Tour and Mission

FRESH, SJI’s young leader’s programme, is going on tour!

Over the years we have seen young people attend FRESH from across the country; from as far North as Sheffield, from as far South as the Isle of Wight and as far west as Northern Ireland.  We love to equip young people to go back into their local communities to make a difference.  We know that there are many more young people with bags of potential and to find them, we’re off on tour!

Between March and June, we will be spanning the country hosting youth group sessions, church services and youth events to inspire young people to step up into leadership and fulfil their potential.

So, if we are coming to your area, come and join us! All events are free and you don’t need to book.

And, if we’re not coming to your neck of the woods, why not invite us? Email [email protected] to get more information about host a tour event.

FRESH goes to Greece

FRESH is not just a leadership course, its a place where we create lots of opportunities for young people to get stuck in practically.

So, this year we have decided to take our FRESHers to Greece for their chance to be involved in practical mission!

SJI has partnered with 24/7 prayer to take a group of 10 young people to Thessaloniki in July this year.

Greece has been hit by huge financial crisis over the last few years and there are large pockets of poverty across the city. Churches in Thessaloniki are trying hard to reach out to the students, families, homeless and refugees that fill this vibrant city.

While we are out there will be working alongside the local churches to visit gypsy camps, do practical outreach in the Universities and some creative stuff on the streets.

Please pray for us while we visit from 14th – 20th July
