What do get when you cross 50 young people with banana man, superman and the incredible hulk? – FRESH Weekend 2!

This weekend we unleashed our inner superhero and examined out superpowers, the importance of x – ray vision and who and what is our nemesis.

Every super hero has their own unique super powers and so do we! Why concentrate on what our weaknesses are when we can be far more effective by engaging our strengths? We explored each of our strengths and gifts and what this says about who we are and how we work.

X-ray vision allows superman to see things that are not visible to the human eye. As Christian leaders we are called to a step into territory that is unknown with a God given vision as our guide. God gives us the ability to see into a supernatural realm and attempt things beyond our human limitation.

Every leader knows the importance and value in having integrity, and as humans we each have our weaknesses. We all have an enemy who knows what our kryptonite is and set’s about destroying us. At FRESH we had an open and honest confession session that aired each of our weaknesses and we prayed for forgiveness, restoration and confessed the truth of who God says we are.

It was a weekend that truly saw young people transformed and empowered to go into their communities and make a difference!
